Weintraub]Peale's Identification: [Unknown] Measurements: FWL = 15.6 mm Comments: DFS notes: this Doryodes is probably the smaller saltmarsh sp., which is [incorrectly] called bistrialis, but speciemn is faded so additional loc. data might resolve uncertainty - there are other spp. From coastal NC southward. [1873-1874] Specimen 17 in Peale Box 12, Box 12 data: "United States. Vermont New York; 12; 38. Sp_____. Catocal__.[sic Catocala] & c." Collected by T.R. Peale in Vermont, 7 mile beach N.
