Beautiful lake with aquatic macrophytes. Trumpeter swans.
Good diversity of most insects. Some gers on south side. |
Lake with good diversity of chironomidae. Note the large
balck chiros with red legs. |
Lake saline? No, eutriphic?? Birds abundant. Yellow/green
algae in lake against stormy sky. |
Pristine Lake formed by ? Fed by groundwater seeps and
snowmelt. Probably oligotrophic. Green/blue. Local people prohibit
grazing and other uses. |
