remarks The original lot was accidentally split and assigned ANSP 399288. The lot has now been recombined. E. M. W. [10 Feb 2014]
annotation 01, 20 Apr 1996, V. Hooper, Eupera mediafricana Pilsbry & Bequaert, 1927. Pilsbry & Bequaert did not designate a holotype. H.B. Baker labeled one shell 133826a, thereby designating a lectotype; however, he did not split the lot. Ten paralectotype valves were removed by V. Hooper from lectotype ANSP 133826 and recataloged as paralectoype ANSP 399288.
