Remarks
ANSP 241600
remarks Original label states 'Loochoo' but ANSP label and catalog state 'Osumi Ids., Kagoshima-ken, Japan'. Also, 'Osumi' is written in pencil on original label and in ink on shell. It is thought that the Osumi Islands were believed to include the Loochoo Islands. This, however, is not the case.
