remarks Davis shell type 17. The dry shells, embryos and bodies associated with this lot are in ANSP 352921 and A8423. 

remarks Davis shell type 17. The alc shells corresponding to this lot are in A8422. The shells in the dry lot were treated with Clorox. The alc lot contains specimens nos. 7-9, 16 and 20-23. Of these, nos. 7 and 8 were rehydrated. On dissection, 10, 9, 20 and 14 two whorl embryos were obtained from specimens nos. 1 ,2, 14 and 25 respectively. These are all in the dry lot, along with a vial with less than two whorl embryos. Some embryos were lost in handling. The embryos were previously treated with Clorox and stored in water.
