remarks Baker divided station J9 into J9a, J9b, J9c, and J9d. Locality descriptions follow, which incorporate his field notes and published data. Station J9: 06 to 18 Jul 1933, east of Montego Bay, St. James. Station J9a: 06 to 16 Jul 1933, logwood plantations south of road near Rosemount, coordinates 18 29 --N 077 56 --W. Station J9b: 06 to 18 Jul 1933, deep gully, between road and Orange Hall. Station J9c: 06 Jul 1933, dry wooded summits south of Rosemount. Station J9d: 08 Jul 1933, south-facing slopes on next ridge north, near Paradise, coordinates 18 30 --N 077 56 --W. Original alc label states 'J9d Par. 7-8-33 Eutrochatella pulchella (Gray)'. Dry lot previously identified as Eutrochatella pulchella scitula, alc lot as Eutrochatella pulchella. Based on station no., lots were determined to be corresponding dry + alc. A12695g is corresponding alc lot to both ANSP 163773 (males) and 163772 (sex not indicated). dry lot contains operculum. Dry lot was physically split, alc lot was not as specimens are indistinguishable. Further examination needed to separate the alc lot.
