Supplemental anatomical information is contained in 6 notebooks housed in the ANSP archives collection 454. Alcohol collection was accessioned into the ANSP collection as no. 372, in 1877. Old jars with original labels maintained in malacology alcohol collection area. Anatomical notes are in notebook 3:1. 2 males, 2 females. Examined 14 May 1857. Johnson (1970:333) designated USNM 86004 as lectotype.
