remarks For original jar labels see ANSP archive collection 201-i(a2). There is an alphabetical listing of all the taxa contained in the jars in ANSP archive collection 201-i(a1). Supplemental anatomical information is contained in 6 notebooks housed in the ANSP archives collection 454. Alcohol collection was accessioned into the ANSP collection as no. 372, in 1877. Old jars with original labels maintained in malacology alcohol collection area. Anatomical notes are in notebook 3:6-7. 1 male 2 females. Examined 11 Oct 1857. Johnson (1970:316) designated USNM 85467 as lectotype. 1786).
