remarks For original jar labels and alphabetical listing of taxa in jars see ANSP archive collection 201-i(a1 and a2) and for notebooks with anatomical information see archives collection 454. Alcohol collection was accessioned at ANSP as no. 372 in 1877. Old jars with original labels maintained in malacology alcohol collection area. Locality and anatomical notes are in notebook 4:12. 2 males, 3 females. Anatomy examined 23 Apr 1858. Anatomical notes published by Lea(1859:212) Jour. ANSP. Johnson (1970:333) designated USNM 86009 as lectotype.
