ANSP A8402

remarks Davis shell type 7. The dry lot was accidentally split and those shells which were not treated with Clorox were catalogued as 352907. A8401 contains the alc shells associated with this lot. Specimens nos. 1, 4, 6 and 13 were rehydrated. Nos. 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15 and 16 disintegrated. On dissection, 168 and 241 embryos were obtained from specimens nos. 2 and 12, respectively. Some of these embryos are dry in vials nos. 2 and 12. Some embryos were lost in handling. The embryos were previously treated with Clorox and stored in water.
