ANSP A8417

remarks Davis shell type 15. The alc shells associated with this lot are in A8416. Specimens nos. 3, 8, 11, 16, 20, 23 and 24 are in the alc lot. All but no. 11 were rehydrated. Specimens nos. 5, 10, 13 and 18 disintegrated. On dissection, 25, 10, 10 and 10 two whorl embryos were obtained from specimens nos. 2, 9, 12 and 15, respectively. The embryos from no. 12 are in alc, the others are dry, along with a vial of less than two whorl embryos. Some embryos were lost in handling. The embryos were previously treated with Clorox and stored in water.
