remarks See archives: Vernay-Lang Kalahari Expedition and reprint: M. Connolly. Ngami flats or Ngami depression: 60 by 10 miles long, dry grass covered plains: fairly fertile. fluviatile mollusks carried in by flood waters and die when water receeds. Thorn belt of acacias. Sandy and heavily wooded. Few miles NE heavy conglomerate possibly correlated to Waterberg system of Transvaal.
