remarks See archives for draft report. K. Heck was principal investigator for this project. All specimens frozen and when returned to laboratory soft parts discarded. Some valves have had a strip of periostracum removed and the annuli marked. Lake elevation: 378 m; lake surface area: 17 hectares; basin area: 655.6 hectares; maximum depth: 8 m; constant outlet: yes; 4 valves measured, corresponding to valves sacrificed for metal analysis.
