ANSP 39494
remarks Garrett (1879: 112-113) stated that he collected Peaseâs types at the Kingsmill Islands (also known as Gilbert Islands). One of the Islands in this Group is Abaiang. It is possible that Peaseâs locality is a misspelling of this island. A lectotype (NHMUK 1964316) was selected by Kay, E. A. 1965. Bull.British Mus.Nat.Hist., Zoology, Suppl. 1: 83, pl. 14, figs. 1-2.
