ANSP 94071

remarks Altitudes converted from feet as read on maps, rounded to nearest 5 m. In G. C. Region collection, material from Pilsbry & Ferriss 1906 trip, data supplemented from Pilsbry field notes. GC number = serial number for Grand Canyon Region Studies of E. E. Spamer. GC-200. EES (havasupai point 15' Quad., 1962). Pilsbry & Ferriss (1911:180) give locality as 'Red Wall' which is the Redwall Limestone. Altitude given as 5000 ft {1524 m} which is too high for the Redwall on Bass Trail. Altitude taken as 4400 ft based on inspection of geologic map of Grand Canyon National Park (Huntoon et al., 1976). Mystic Spring Trail = Bass Trail.
