remarks In deep (ca. 3 ft) pool adjacent to stream; mature snails very abundant on bottoms and sides of pool; stream running with pools, clear; substratum of rocks and mud; area vegetation light, streamside vegetation light; human use moderate; water in pool very silty when bottom disturbed; direct sun.
