Remarks
ANSP 178786
remarks As with Calliostoma fascinans (in the same paper), Clench & Turner (and C. L. Richardson latterly) assumed this to be the âtypeâ cited in the original description, despite its different number and cataloging date. Its measurements are closer to those cited than with fascinans, of hiwch there were clearly multiple specimens. Both this lot and 178635 are considered syntypes in the original. PRC 17 Jul 2015.
