remarks According to Iredale and Hull (Proc. R. Zool. Soc. N.S.W., 1927:28), 'Type is in Nat. Mus. Melb.', but this is not a lectotype designation. Also, annotation is incorrect because unpublished labels have no status.
annotation 01, 22 Jun 1989, T. Cochran (letter), Ischnochiton wilsoni Sykes, paratype; specimens in museum of Victoria are specifically marked 'type' and 'co-type'.
